Thanks for sharing your photos! Only I would ask this question, but do you know what kind of spruce Phillip used for the top? It looks like it has some slight flaming to it or maybe the varnish gives it that effect. Either way, I like it!

I will check with him, I think he gets his wood from the same place you do. International Violin , I just visited with him last night for about an hour, he just started on another fiddle , this is the second fiddle my dad got from him, it is 3 years old now and is really coming around, just needs to get played more.
