I've only heard the one song of there's "Wagon Wheel" and I fell in love with that fiddle part! I've been playing violin for 10 years now and as hard as I try, I can't make my playing sound like "authentic" fiddling. Are there any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong? I've been trying to break some of my habits from playing classical music for so long..... when I try to play fiddle it sounds too..... clean?
Any help??

Music is what keeps me sane. I'm just trying to make my way through life the best I can and want to further my music experiences. The emotions you feel from playing music with others is one of the best feelings in the world for me. I'd love to hear how other musicians are doing out there in the world. I'm trying to get more into fiddling. I was classically trained in violin for 6 years and for the past 3-4 years have been playing with numerous other musicians trying to expand my horizons. It's hard to break away from the strict rules of classical music, but it'll always hold a special place in my heart. But right now? I just want to jam with people and give my input into their music!
