Just uplaoded some photos from the Blacksmith's Forge  In, where we played for the blacksmiths who are forging a steel tree in memory of the Black Saturday bushfires. Doug who plays squeeze box in Flanagan's Mob is also a blacksmith and one of the members of the Australian Blacksmith Association who came up with the idea. My Instruments:
Fiddle, one handmade by Paul Davies of Arts Music at the Abbotsford Convent Artists Community, an old Mamby , a Blessing from China which I started on and a Mavis which I got for $50 on ebay just for mucking around., the case was worth more than the fiddle! I also play uke (used to be in MUK) and guitar.

Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, The Louvin Brothers, Gillian Welch, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, The Weavers....and some Australian bands:Unsung which has a fantastic fiddler Moira Tyers ,and an amazing vocalist songwriter Wendy Ealey.
