Grew up on Woody Guthrie records and a little piano & guitar. Began clog dancing. Being enveloped in fiddle music, I couldn't help but pick it up. Gradually gave up square dance calling & dancing to play the fiddle exclusively. I Travelled many times from PA to W Va & VA to learn from old timers. The music is now supporting my love of creating art.
