Just a first blog to say hello to all fiddlers out there. Any suggestions for a first fiddle (not chinese made)? No offense to those who own or believe in the China made instruments I'm sure some of them are real good. Just my personal preference.

I'm looking for any and all help just starting out in the fiddle/violin world. I would like to play Cletic, Scottish and just plain old folk tunes to begin with. I also love Classical music as well but I guess not much of that is discussed here.
