Since I just got started on playing the violin/ fiddle, it often makes some horrible screeching noises. I can usually get through a practice session now without too many of those, so I spose I am getting somewhat better. I don't suppose I will ever be a virtuoso, but mabey I can learn a few tunes and get through them without offending anyone sometime soon.

I have been in love with music in general all my life. I started out in grade school playing the trumpet in the school band. Then in Jr. high I switched over to barritone because the high school marching band needed one, and played that through high school. I got a guitar for christmas at the age of 18, and have picked on it and a few others since that time. I never got serious on the guitar though. I have played piano since the age of 32 and can do pretty well on that. I started on harmonica about the same time as the piano and can carry a tune or two on that as well. I started on banjo almost 2 years ago and can pick a few tunes on it now. Now my wife has bought a fiddle for us to play, and I hope to someday soon teach my little girl how to play.
