I have been playing fiddle for the past three or four years. However, fiddle is not my first instrument. My main instrument is Clawhammer style banjo which I have been playing since I was 11. I also play mountain dulcimer.
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Anybody who plays good music and keeps the folk traditions, famous or not.

I love old-time and folk music. I am somewhat skilled on the banjo, and I am very much interested in fiddling. I have been teaching myself so I am still rough around the edges. I would enjoy finding others around the area to play with and learn from.
