I played the trumpet in middle school (can't any long), attempted to teach myself the guitar in high school, and have been trying to learn the fiddle (lessons and "self-teaching") since 2011
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
I have a weird taste in music where my two favorite genres of music are rap/hip-hop and bluegrass.
My favorite bluegrass bands are Yonder Mountain String Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, The Del McCoury Band, Hot Buttered Rum, Trampled by Turtles, and the Felice Brothers
I don't listen to jam band music that much other than shows I've been to, but I love seeing jam bands play live. I love the pretty standard jam bands of Phish, String Cheese Incident, and Widespread Panic.

I went to the University of Virginia and majored in studio art. After college I moved to Colorado for two years and became a whitewater rafting guide/ski bum. I decided to go to graduate school and moved from of town of 2,000 people in CO to Brooklyn, NY. I'm in a portfolio school to be an art director in advertising and I love it.
