I'm listening to the 'Red Clay Ramblers right now. Otherwise, all kinds of "Coffee House Folk" type of stuff where the song or the dancing is the important message.

I'm a middle aged music teacher, married with three sons. Interests include - of course ... lots of music. I sing and play in several different incarnations on several different instruments, most notably Guitar, Mandolin, French Horn, Cornet, Strumstick. I am lucky to have a job which furthurs my interests. As a middle school orchestra-band teacher I get to play music with friends all day and get paid for it! Fiddling is a great interest of mine, although I'm not much of a player myself. I direct a very active fiddle group of middle school students ... I'm a great source for easy intermediate level arrangements with harmony and bass line parts. Please get in touch if you have a similar situation working with young players. Other interests include ... backpacking (LT 2004, AT sectioned through all of VT,NH) - reading, listening to music, walking with the dogs on our local rail-trail, travelling and enjoying down-time with my lovely wife Lisa (married 33 years in Oct 2008).
