Recently I bought a violin at the webshop of Corilon Violins in Konstanz (Germany). It took several weeks for me to decide if and what type of violin I would buy on line. I am a beginning violinist at age with experience on Violoncello. In my first emailcontact with Corilon I made my first preference known. Mrs dr. Annette Roeben, the owner of the webshop, advised me against my choice. The violin I had in mind was to expensive (2500 euro) for a beginner like me, she told me. She made me an offer of four violins in the price-range of about 1000 euro. After a few weeks I bought an instrument from this offer; a German violin (Markneukirchen) dating from about 1900. The delivery was prompt and fast. My violinteacher was very content about this instrument. The violinmaker, who takes care for the maintenance of my Cello, was also surprised about the exterior aspect and the good tone-quality, regarding the price-range. The most important thing: I am very happy with my choice and play and study with pleasure.
