In the summer of 1960, I started playing the violin. I attended Urban park Elementary School. I then gave up the violin. In 1968, I started playing the guitar, since the Choir Director at Urbandale Christian Church played a Goya and I wanted to play the guitar after hearing him. My parents decided to get me a Silvertone Guitar, I played that until about 1976 when a guy put a gun to my head after offering a ride to me in his car. I later bought a Yamaha Guitar. In June I decided to play the violin. I went to Jay R. Rury's in Richardson. I have started playing simple folk and Christian pieces. I am studying the book Violin For Dummies. Also I attempt to do tunes I hear over the radio, and out of my songbooks I have collected for the guitar.
