Today I actually drew a bow accross the strings, pretty interesting, grandkids screamed and we can't find the family dog. Thought it sounded pretty good but Peaches (That the missus) said it sounded like I was "Strangling a Cat". I thought I heard a couple of notes from Amazing Grace in there, but who knows. Peaches wants to know if they have mutes like I do for the Banjo?

I've been playing Bluegrass Music for over 50 years, Guitar for 51 Years, Banjo for about 30, Dobro for about 10, so I decided to buy a fiddle. I work for a large defense contractor and I am a retired Army Officer. I will get my fiddle on July 10, 2008 and start scratching on the strings. Wish me luck.
