There's gotta be another world beyond banjo, will the fiddle be my next challenge..? Way too early to tell just yet as today, July something 2008, I bought my first fiddle. Several things wrong, wrong, wrong with this thing compared to my banjo(s) - no bolts, no frets, nothing to tinker up and where am I gonna put that capo? Oh well, looking forward to some delicious noises. My regular thing has been the five string banjo for the last 30 years or so. I like lots of different kinds of music so it comes in handy to play both 3 finger and clawhammer style. This fiddle now staring me in the face kinda humbles me and sure makes me appreciate the hard work my banjo students put themselves through.
