This is my first step in trying to play the fiddle. I have one, can play a few notes, but i really need some help and encouragement...PLEASE I NEED HELP !!!!!!!!

I've been dancing with a traditional East Anglian dance team for around 10 years , been to lots of folk festivals and I would love to be able to play the fiddle. i have no musical background apart from my dancing.
