I received my fiddle with some help from William Townsend of The Amati Foundation. I am absolutely in love with it....the sound, the tone, and most important....just playing it. Thanks Bill!!

I played viola and violin as a child in elementary and jr. high orchestra. Then I moved away to a home that did not offer a stringed instrument program. I didnt pick up a violin again for 25 some-odd years. My love for the music and the instrument never died. Recently I aquired a new fiddle with some help from The Amati Foundation. I still love classical and picked it up almost right where I left off. I also discovered that I absolutely LOVE fiddle style. Who knew?? :-) I'm not very good, but I am sure enjoying the ride in picking it up. I do know, I am born to play, and I could no more put my fiddle down again than rise and fly to the moon.
