I have several, mainly good quality Chinese but I have an old Wolfe Brothers instrument that I hope to repair soon and I think that might end up being my favourite
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Aly Bain as a fiddler, my wifes pretty good too. Blazing Fiddles takes a bit of beating and I love the Old Swan Band for English Music. Recntly went to a wokshop with Pete Cooper here in the UK he's pretty good too.

I'm really a squeezebox player and took up the fiddle late in life really as part of my Luthier and violin business. If you can't play it how can you adjust it !. I started the Bursledon Village Band over 30 years ago, met my wife through the band (she's the fiddler) and have played for thousands of Barn Dances and Ceilidhs throughout the UK www.bursledonvillageband.co.uk. I don't suppose I'll ever play the fiddle well but I do enjoy the challenge and when it goes well I get such a buzz.
