I grew up near Decatur IL, went to University Of Illinois in Champaign Urbana. Started playing guitar for the church choir there, then put together a band. Did a stint truck driving cross-country, then started playing in local bands more and more. Moved to Peoria area and started playing in churches, bands, recording studios, and teaching. Started writing songs with Wes Sperry in 2004, been working on those things ever since. Had a lot of fun doing most of it. Current main band is a Rod Stewart tribute band called The Young Turks, in which I play keyboards, guitar, and mandolin.
