Started playing fiddle when I was 7. Got all my grades by 16. Couldn't get girls playing violin so took up bass guitar in rock band. Worse than violin for girls. Took up guitar. Decided it wasn't instrument that was responsible for lack of success with girls. Took up Sax and Clarinet. Played in Progressive Rock (Narcosis - electric viola and bass), Omen - Heavy Rock Band - Bass, Blues Band - Mean Mr Mustard - bass, The Headhunters - Rock and Soul Bass, then after years and years got my fiddle out again and have started playing it again after a gap of 33 years and am playing in a Bluegrass Band called Phantom Horse. Thinking of forming a band to play Gypsy Jazz. Started singing with guitar too.
