Fiddler of Danish Oldtime band "Possum Whackers" - with Axel Kanne, guitar, Anders Færgeman, banjo and John Andersen, bass Struck with the Oldtime fever in 1965, I taught myself guitar, pro- gressed to Clawhammer banjo and soon went on to the fiddle. Gave my dad’s old violin a second and better life as a fiddle (flattened bridge, steel strings, low action and 4 fine-tuners) and started listening to Oldtime LP’s at half speed. Figured out what they were doing – and never looked back. Played semi-professionally for about 40 years in various bands. Wore my fingerboard out and put copper on top - works beautifully. Apart from Fiddle, Clawham- mer banjo and guitar I play Mountain Dulcimer...and fiddle a bit with a mandolin too. Been to the States many times – including West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North & South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Arkansas.
