Violin

      I have a violin, on the back of the pegboard is a crest

                       Concert  ( engraved on a slant)

                       Then an engraved Crown

                        Then engraved on the crest is Violin

                         I can trace it back to the states to about 1840,

            a Hoffmaster family, inside is 1731 label but I don't think

             that is authentic, but it is old  well over 150 years any ideas
