The only tune I really wanted to play on the fiddle was Orange Blossom Specal and maybe Rubber Dolly (the shuffle part).
But,tunes that require that shuffle bowing thing, Well anyway ,my double crossbowing sucks. I still after about six years can't get that bowing pattern right .
Has anyone out there got any good exersises for me to practice, to help with this style of bowing.

I've played guitar for years(I was in various rock bands) and began the fiddle thing a while ago. I like it but I feel I need a lot of help with my bowing. I also play a little mandolin. When I heard Ashokan Farewell for the first time I knew I wanted to try the fiddle.
