The Poplar Grove Band is a mostly bluegrass band available for bluegrass festivals and other events that are looking for a music mix of bluegrass, Texas swing, old-time, blues, and Americana styles all around Illinois and Wisconsin and in the cities of Rockford, Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee. The bluegrass band is based out of Rockford-IL and sponsors a monthly bluegrass jam in Poplar Grove, Illinois. All six members are fine musicians playing the full compliment of bluegrass music instruments, banjo, dobro, fiddle, guitar, harmonica, mandolin. All band members sing and contribute both lead and harmony vocals.
