I started playing fiddle one night after finding my moms old fiddle under a bed at her house and trying it.I knew it was the same tuning as the mandolin and I had already been playing mando about a year or more,so I tried out a few things and it made sense,that night and the morning after I coldnt get it out of my head,so I went to the music store and bought a beginner fiddle for under 200.Three and a half years later I'm on my third fiddle,transcribing Kenny Baker tunes,playing two three hours a day,slipping in mando and dobro practice here and there with my head full of tunes,and looking for more..........the journey continues.
