Been playing since childhood with long gaps to be a marine, a carpenter, etc. Became dedicated to oldtime fiddle around 1970 - have 20,000+ hours on the old Gypsy fiddle since then, all kinds of fiddle music (ALL). Taught 14,000 children an average of 5 square dances each, also adults; teaching fiddle occasionally since 1980, some pretty good students.
