Sneaked over from the BHO (same user name) - seems to be a few of us!

I've just retired nice and early from the daily grind, so now that I've the time, I've decided to add fiddle to the banjo. I'd never even held a fiddle until a week or so back, so it's going to be interesting! Just got my fiddle (an old German unlabeled one) and about to start some lessons.

I'm also off to my second Sorefingers in April doing 5 string banjo, will think about doing fiddle next year.

I'll will be interesting to see just how much 'translatable' skill there is from banjo to fiddle!

	Jed Todd says: 2/27/2013 6:37:00 AM Hi Jim, Rachel eddy is doing banjo and fiddle this year at sf, would perhaps be better for you to do this class, although chris coole is gonna take some beating, lol. see you there, I played banjo for 27 years and switched to fiddle, much to the protest of my poor banjo, lol, jed

	Dave Knibb says: 2/27/2013 1:13:11 PM I'm the same as you jim - trying to learn too much at once, I think! Just acquired a melodeon and an autoharp as well, but persevering with the fiddle as it is the most satisfying.
