After a couple of years picking up some easy Scots and Irish tunes, I've decided to get back to basics and unlearn some error habits - I sent for Brian Wicklund's American Fiddle Method. First thing I notice is the amount of bowing compared to my previous tunes, and the tunes are easy to remember. I think I'm going to enjoy this.

Interested in learning to play fiddle to a level where I can enjoy myself. Had about a year of violin lessons as a youngster (that wouldn't be recent!), and then got the urge to get a fiddle a couple of years ago. Made some progress - but not as much as I'd like, so far.
