This year we have added a new discipline to the weekend, Old-Time Ozark style. This event/contest will take place Friday afternoon/evening. We've added this to highlight traditional fiddle playing specific to our region. This contest is open to any regional old-time style of playing. The contemporary "contest" style competition everyone is used to will take place on Saturday. Both contests are open to residents of any state.

First Prize -- Open and Senior Divisions . . . $500.00
Second Prize -- Open and Senior Divisions . . . $300.00
Third Prize -- Open and Senior Divisions . . . $100.00

First Prize -- Junior Divisions . . . $200.00
Second Prize -- Junior Divisions . . . $100.00
Third Prize -- Junior Divisions . . . $50.00

These prizes are for both contests, Friday and Saturday.

J. Mulkey Kent Award . . . $300.00
The J. Mulkey Kent Award will go to the fiddler who best exhibits traditional Ozark fiddling. To enter and be considered for this award, one must fiddle in a style that is recognized by the judges as being consistent with traditional Ozark fiddling. In the event that none of the contestants being considered meet the qualification, it is not mandatory that this award be given.
