Today I had the honor to visit the wall of all our fallen veterans that was on a traveling display and came to my area in S.W. Missouri. Even tho I had my fiddle along for the ride I decided that in was not the time or place to be playing upbeat music plus I enjoyed watching and being part of the people in the reflection of the fallen soldiers. My father was a retired military man and when I ask him for his blessing of joining the service when I graduated from school in the late 70's his reply was that he had spent enough time over-seas for all his children. He was a very good man and served our country well and when we were blessed at his return home to also teach us music and how to enjoy life as a family I have to salute him and all the veterans and give thanks to them that fought for our freedom to be able to play music and enjoy our lives in our pursuit of happiness. Thank you Lord for our Vets.
