I am trying to start an acoustic jam session for bluegrass/old time/folk in the West End of Richmond. I know that there are several such sessions on the southside and in Gouchland, but I don't know of many opportunities in the West End.
So musicians of all kinds of instruments (banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, etc.) are welcome. All skill levels are invited to participate. I, myself, am a beginner at both the banjo and fiddle.
I'm thinking that we will meet one evening per month for a couple of hours. We can start out at my house and then, depending upon the number of attendees, we can move to another convenient location.
Start date is Saturday night, March 24, from 7-9 p.m.
