Yes I call my violin 'Rat'. I'm hoping to explore all the different voices (sounds) you can get out of a bow and use that to add expression to the music. I'm also aspiring to NEVER play 'Autumn Leaves' or anything else with a ragtime feel.

Thanks for forming this group! My playing is still pathetic, but maybe I can make it a little less so now that I have a direction to take it in. Will definitely check out those videos when I have a few minutes.

The important thing is to move forward...
I believe it takes a good musician to realize what progress one has to make!
So you can't be as "pathetic" as you think u are see !
