Hey John,

Jigs Reels and Hornpipes played in Irish step dance is what caught my interest in picking a stringed instrument again. My girls step danced when they were still at home and I loved it. I would love to connect with people who play at "Feis" events and could steer toward the tunes played at competition. I though it would be great if I could play for my future grand kids. I play a couple of Jigs and Reels by memory now and am always looking for more.

	Bart says: 2/2/2011 8:58:38 PM Curious to know if this group will include music of Scotland and other associated sorts, or gonna stick to strictly Irish? Was just mentioning to someone I was thinking of starting a group for Irish/Scottish/Related Trad.

While I may have started the group, I do not have any intentions to mico manage it. I would like to see it take on a life of it's own. John
