Hi all,
Definitely not actually ITM, but thought with the Scottish roots, I would post this here.
Here is a link to a fun little video of Natalie McMaster and her husband Donnell Leahy. It is part music, part stories about their fiddling heritage. It's about 27 minutes long, and my personal favorite is the one they did starting at about minute 25, at the end.
I also greatly enjoyed the stories they both shared about growing up in their houses without TVs, but with tons of music.
I personally don't much care for his first fast tune, after the slow air, despite how difficult it looks, but the one at the end with him on fiddle and her on piano was outstanding. This is also a great example of fiddle/piano sounding wonderful together.
Enjoy!
