Anyone interested in posting vids/sound clips for a song of the month!? It's cool b/c it pushes you to learn! Also, I've been absent from the forum for sometime, but it appears there is a lot of interest given the rise in membership, and I'm ready to jump in!

	Loup says: 11/9/2015 2:46:37 PM Hi dnique Hearing Kaplan waltz as played sounded lifeless without double-stops.According to Dennis McGee Cajun music must be played with double stops. The reason for this,is that on the arrival of the accordeon in Louisiana,the fiddle had to sound louder to match the loud accordeon. Your notation is perfect. I hope that I was of some help to you.
	larry dominique says: 1/7/2016 10:14:56 PM Thanks Loup. I'm working on the double stops. The sheet music doesn't have any double stops noted but I'm trying to figure that out by ear. slow process for me.
	Mitch Reed says: 7/3/2016 7:59:52 AM Here's a video I did a while back about drones, double stops, double strings, all that good stuff. There are a few exercises to help get you started...let me know if you have any questions.
