I'm a retired nurse who took up the fiddle after retirement. My main interest is Cajun music, but some of the bluegrass tunes are growing on me. I had a year of formal lessons but now I am mostly self taught. Learning to play the fiddle is one of the most satisfying things I have ever done.Future goals include getting good enough to jam with other players. Currently working through Mitch Reed's online lessons, which are pretty darned awesome if you ask me.
