A very talented group of individuals does exactly what the older generation so craves… brings the new generation to Bluegrass music.
I think they adapted it well. The fiddler went for a bit of a Celtic flair, but it seemed to work with the group. The singer really nailed it.
I think it’s fun when players have learned the elements of a style well enough to be able to apply them to a different piece of music without it sounding watered down.
