Because somewhere in 1987 we went there , in our little red Lada stuffed with camping materials , me and my sister and mom and dad - passed the border which was controlled by fully armed soldiers and visited the most beautiful of all countries I have ever been to: Yugoslavia - with the most gentle and beautiful men and women of a people so generous and so happy living with only basic needs fullfilled. We were very welcome and felt completely safe and strongly connected with all of our Yugoslavian brothers and sisters.
I will always miss these days.
I will never forget what once was.

Anja, I wondered if the title referred to your mood of the day, or was a tune you'd composed. Thanks for the story. Sent me looking at the world map again. I've been enjoying YouTube videos of Trio Mandili, who are from Georgia, a little further east, which is also a beautiful country.
