How about a forum topic of where to get together? Public jams would be one category. Maybe "I'll be in Northern Virginia for the month of November. Bringing my fiddle. I play old-time, bluegrass, swing and jazz."
This is a great idea.
And I wish this place was more active.
And it would be nice if the classifieds wasn't just a website for The Violin Beautiful.
