More About Me
I have been playing Irish traditional fiddle since I was 8 years of age. My grandfather taught me, and other teachers I've had include John Carty, Ben Lennon, Brid Harper, and John Daly.
I have participated in competitions over the years and I've been placed at All-Ireland standard.
My repertoire of Irish tunes is vast, and I have a great knowledge of the various styles. I teach not only the tunes but style, ornamentation, using variations, good rhythm, phrasing, and good relaxed technique.
I am also a composer and I have worked with the Irish band Lunasa in this capacity. I can also teach Irish traditional composition too.
