Hello Fiddlers!
I am a U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion and a Berklee grad. I've been teaching for over 17 years. I've toured all over the US and Canada playing Irish, Scottish and Cape Breton style fiddle and stepdance. These days I'm touring solo as a fiddler-singer-songwriter -- check out the latest videos at www.emeraldrae.com. I teach fiddle tunes, singing, fiddle accompaniment, technique, with some ear training and music theory, all levels and all ages, with an emphasis on confidence building.
I'm looking for a few students who are interested in committing to two one-hour long lessons per month for September to May. This can be locally in Gloucester or via Skype. Scheduling will depend on my touring schedule, but with a little advance planning it'll be very manageable. We'll just pick a time of the week that works and vary the weeks. Cost is $150/month and will be charged automatically on the 15th of the month. There are no refunds for cancellations, but we can reschedule.
