Great job on that tune.
They just had a special on Bill Monroe on the radio yesterday. Does anyone know the tune "Scotland" by him up in your parts?

Good job, but "The Rose of Allendale" (not Alandale) is actually an English song which is often mistakenly believed to be Scottish or Irish. It was composed in the 1840s by Charles Jeffreys(lyrics) and Sidney Nelson(music). The lyrics are about a maiden from the town of Allendale, Northumberland, England.
