Fiddle: Sam Younger Banjo: Luther Horton Guitar: Ervin Freeze Made at Luther Horton's house, 1980 Luther Horton played an up-picking style of banjo, common to the Ozarks. He learned this as a young man, from Collie Dodson. Collie died in 1939. Luther did play a Martin Vega resonator banjo, which leads one to think of bluegrass banjo, and does tend to over-power the other instruments in this recording.
