I learned this tune from a Clyde Davenport recording after hearing several folks playing it back in Minnesota. Carrie Jackson (my girlfriend) is playing a fretless tackhead grain measure banjo built by Bob Thornberg. This is normally a G tune, but I lowered the fiddle a full step for the banjo. This is a very Lo-Fi first take recording on a several beer, late Friday night. I decided to dub in the guitar track for a little extra boom chic umpa pa.

This is a great recording for a "several beer Friday night".

Good tune - and well played.
I'm gonna learn it... :-)
