Yeah, that Peter!! Sigh. It's really a crying shame that he's never met any of the Duly-Certified OT Purist Police to set him straight about What Is And Isn't Old Time Music, what key is the proper one for any tune, what is the Officical True-Vine Source Recording of some drunk country fiddlers out to make a quick buck from some city slickers with a record machine and little did he know they stole it from Uncle Fred or made it up on the spot and besides, the only easier scam woulda been if that dang city-man paid them to whistle or burp, because all music is totally free and belongs to whoever hears it via angelic whispers and everything after that initial fact is Wanna Be Einsteins wearing Dunce Caps with 'Kick Me, I'm Pretentious' emblazoned on 'em. Anyhow, Peter seems to have this sadly-misguided notion that Music Is Music. all 'Great Divides' are actually prison cells and All Music Is Old Time Human Folk Music. Alarmingly, I agree with him. I musta had my brain washed or sumpin. Life's too short for aloof tribes, armed camps, cold lonely puritans and other such non-orgasmic bean pod peeps.
