I wrote this tune while working as a biological technician at Mesa Verde National Park in 2002. I recorded all of the tracks myself on a really basic 4-track recorder. It's a raw recording with lots of mistakes...especially on the banjo...but it still conveys the essence of the tune and the feelings I had at the time it was conceived.
