This rendition of Old Joe Clack has no Melody..it will be up to you for that. There are mandolin breaks a bout every 16 bars so..its late..I forget the exact number of bars. Created with Realband..Tempo is quick as I would play this tune..Have fun. Jerry

Howdy, Realband is part of a program of Band In a Box. Neat stuff. Check it out ..www.pgmusic.com. All real instrument recordings..fiddle..mando..guitar..guitar..jazz..sax...Realband is where you edit..add and instrument at certain measure for how ever many bars..etc..easy to use..unless you get anal. Jerry PS If interested in the product check out what there price is and compare to others selling on ebay offering the product at a lesser cost. Jerry

Howdy, Realband is part of the Band in Box program with real tracks liket you are hearing and not midi..tho there are tons of midi in the package. Realband lets you take and add what ever instrument you want to your mix (there are exceptions). Country, bluegrass, jazz, rock, blues..etc...its there. Jerry

Sounds great! I went to the website. All I could find were the midi files. How do you get the real sound? Also, how much does it cost?

Go to the website PG Music.com..click on products..from the pull down menue select Realtracks..click on 11-20 for most of the bluegrass stuff..or just select and number you like. Jerry

They dont have slow tracks as far as I know..but when making your song you choose any tempo you wish...the instruments were recorded at a certain tempo and you will only be able to slow down or speed up a certain amount..perhaps usring another medium to listen and slow down the recording would work..windows media player..audacity etc. Jerry

Thanks. I'll look into that. Can you create any tune from the program you like, or are you limited?

Hi Jeff, Anything your heart desires. You can make a tune up lets sat with G C D and pick what style you want it play..blues bluegrass, rock, jazz etc On the most part its easy to use. If you were intersting buying the program I would look at ebay and compair..there are licened vendors there that sell for less than pg web site offers it for. The basic program goes for about $99 or less on ebay..you can get add on disk for $29..like bluegrass..jazz and other genre. It really a nice program..I got it just for the REal Instruments, Good luck, Jerry

I a looking the get BIAB and this info and sound file is exactly what I needed to help me with my decision. I found the BIAB 2011 for $100 on Amazon but they don't sell realtracks. PG Music may be the ticket for realtracks. Thanks.

PG Music was the ticket. Got them to match my best competitive price and the let me do an immediate download and the disks are in the mail. My teacher suggested RealTracks Set 11 and 33 (bluegrass rhythm and medium tempo bluegrass) Much better than the midi files.
