Also recorded Sept 2002 is a tune I'm proud of. I'm playing lead and Art Stamper twin. I'm not near the fiddler Art was but I think we did a good job. Let me know what you all think

Thank you very much! This tune was done without practice and Art did say that he was always good at twining and song back up. Keep listening I'll try and post more later.

Of course, my two favorite American fiddle tunes - in order - are "Arkansas Traveler" and "Turkey in the Straw". Nobody plays'em anymore. But I play them all the time... :-)
Art's sure climbing up the fingerboard to get that high harmony.

I like the spontaneity of this recording -- one hears so many 'slick' twin fiddle offerings. This is the REAL DEAL!
