This tune was recorded in Sept 2002 in the home of my cousin Art Stamper. We were dabbling with cross tuning and he came out with this tune. This has never been recorded by him. Please Enjoy.

I've been listening to some recordings of Art from the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes in 1997. He played this tune in a workshop session and
and remarked that he picked it up from "Big Howdy" Forrester. Excellent playing, indeed. Thanks for posting.

Thank you! Art always referred to him as just plain "Big Howdy" and as far as I know he had every recording he made. He was one of Arts favorites. I'll try and post more later.
