Recorded by Mary Alice Bernal at the NOTSBA's "Breakin' Up Winter" festival on March 6-9, 2009. Franklin George (fiddle) and Ron Ault (banjo) playing. This is one of my favorite tunes that Ron Ault plays regularly at the Fiddle & Pick jams in Pegram, TN.

Did Franklin George say where he learned this?
I always thought of it as a New England tune, but I guess good tunes have no borders!
