Great tune - and I've never heard it before.
I'm wondering when you guys recorded this - it sounds to me like good "straight-ahead" Oklahoma or early Missouri fiddling without much influence from the later Texas styles.
Is it an Oklahoma tune?

I got this tune from the great fiddle player Clark Kessinger of W. Virginia. I play it pretty much the way I learned it back in the 1970's. I don't know when this was recorded down at Gayle's house but I still play this tune the same way as I did back then.
