As requested by banjofrailer. Band version with vocals of the tune in G. I originally learned it in D, but had to relearn it in G for our banjo player. We do this as more of a vocal and banjo feature, so my fiddle on this is mostly just along for the ride. Recorded Dec '05.

You ever hear of a soprano fiddle? It is more commonly known as a soprano violin, and it is a member of the New Violin Family of eight differently sized fiddles. It is tuned a fourth higher than a regular fiddle, i.e., an octave higher than a faddle (viola). You could have played this with your G fingerings on a soprano fiddle. Go to http://www.newviolinfamily.org/ to learn about it and its siblings and find how to order one made for you.
